Lately I have been feeling really unhappy with my body. I haven’t been too hard on myself or unrealistic, but I have gained what feels like a pretty significant amount of weight over the summer and have finally hit my breaking point. I’ve realized that I just can’t get any bigger than I am right now. My clothes aren’t fitting, my energy is low, and worst of all it is starting to affect my mood. That’s when I personally know that I’ve got to start making some changes.
I had to go into work for a little while this morning, and when I got back to my apartment there was Shelton in his workout gear. I’d never been so happy or pumped to workout! I immediately put on my workout clothes and we did a 20 minute cardio routine. We hit it hard and let me tell you… I am so out of shape. It felt so good to sweat though! I want to start doing more little workouts like that, just to get back in the habit of exercising. It’s such a stressful time for us, but I know that there are things that I can still do to be healthy. I can make excuses all day, but that’s not gonna get me anywhere!
